A Palm Beach County jury on Wednesday found a man guilty of child sex crimes involving an 11-year-old victim, the State Attorney’s Office announces.

After a four-day trial, Kendall Eugene, 25, was convicted of two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation. These offenses occurred between 2020 and 2021.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled on Sept. 2. The defendant faces a minimum mandatory sentence of 25 years in prison with lifetime sexual offender probation.
