Two men were sentenced on November 14 to life in prison for their roles in a deadly shooting, Palm Beach County State Attorney Alexcia Cox announces.

On September 19, a jury found Damonte Knight and Keith Pleasant guilty of first-degree murder, and four counts of attempted second-degree murder. Knight was found guilty of being the shooter.

The violence occurred in the Westgate community of suburban West Palm Beach on February 23, 2022. The murder victim was shot while standing in the driveway of a home with the other four victims.

Both Knight and Pleasant received life sentences.
