• Paul Del Castillo, 61, was convicted of two counts of sexual battery (minor victim). The victim bravely testified during the three-day trial. Sentencing is pending. Assistant State Attorney Gabriel Montiel prosecuted the case along with Special Victims Unit Chief Lindsay Bruno.

• Exzavious Daniels, 40, was convicted of felony battery. The case involved an attack at a gas station, which resulted in the victim suffering a traumatic brain injury. Sentencing is pending. Assistant State Attorneys Weir King and Logan Edwards prosecuted the case.

• Calvin Walker, 32, was convicted of possession of a firearm by a felon, after a three-day trial. A sentencing hearing is scheduled on July 11. Assistant State Attorneys Chris Morgan and Kaiser Jairam prosecuted the case.
