State Attorney, Sheriff Seek Help from Public
to Enforce New Law Targeting Antisemitism

What: State Attorney Dave Aronberg and Sheriff Ric Bradshaw will hold a press conference to ask the public to help authorities bring criminal charges against individuals who spread antisemitic messages in the community. This enforcement comes under a new state law that targets littering, trespass and projecting unauthorized images on private property, or otherwise harassing or intimidating people based on their religious or ethnic heritage.

When: Tuesday, September 19 from 11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Location: State Attorney’s Office, 2^nd floor conference room, 401 North Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach.

Joining State Attorney Aronberg will be a representative from the office of state Rep. Michael Caruso, who last spring sponsored the public nuisances legislation, House Bill 269, which subjects violators to be prosecuted for misdemeanors and felonies.
