State Attorney to Announce 7 Arrests Involving $3.2 Million in Paycheck Protection Program Fraud

What: State Attorney Dave Aronberg will hold a press conference to announce recent arrests as a result of the State Attorney/PBSO task force that targets individuals who defrauded the federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Through the PPP, small businesses suffering from economic effects caused by the COVID-19 pandemic received forgivable loans to pay for job retention and other expenses.

When: Monday, March 18 from 11:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

Location: State Attorney’s Office, 2nd floor conference room, 401 North Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach.

Joining State Attorney Aronberg will be representatives from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Riviera Beach Police, Chief Assistant State Attorney Alan Johnson, and task force investigators.
