State Attorney Dave Aronberg announced the filing of two new criminal charges against a Maryland man who threw antisemitic materials at homes in our community.
The State Attorney’s Office is prosecuting, Nicholas Alan Bysheim, 33, on misdemeanor charges of dumping of litter and attempting to commit dumping of litter, stemming from March 11 and March 18 incidents in West Palm Beach.

As a result of those charges, prosecutors have moved to revoke bond on Bysheim’s previous misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence from a Jan. 21 encounter in the city of Atlantis.

The State Attorney’s Office has also charged Brian Keith Hulliger, 46, of Bradenton, in the dumping case. Warrants are out for accomplices of Bysheim and Hulliger in the West Palm Beach littering cases. These are misdemeanors, rather than noncriminal infractions, because the total weight of the littered bags exceeded 15 pounds.

“These individuals came into our community to cause harm and now are being held accountable,” Aronberg said. “Moving forward, there are new laws that could bring tougher charges against individuals who disseminate hate here and across Florida.”

Hearings in these cases are scheduled for Friday in Palm Beach County court.
