The Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office announces that Eduardo Martinez Reyes was sentenced today to a mandatory 20-year prison term, to be served day for day with no gain time.

On May 23, a jury found Martinez Reyes, 32, guilty of two counts of attempted second-degree murder with a firearm.

In December 2022, Martinez Reyes fired several rounds at a vehicle occupied by two unarmed victims inside a Greenacres trailer park. One victim was injured by shattered glass.

Assistant State Attorneys Diva Casas and Danielle Grundt prosecuted the case and obtained justice for the victims.
