A judge on Friday sentenced Robert W. Murray to life in prison for the 2020 murder of his estranged girlfriend inside her Century Village home, the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office announces.

A jury on Aug. 28 found Murray guilty of first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and burglary while armed, for breaking into the woman’s condo in suburban West Palm Beach and stabbing her.

15th Judicial Circuit Judge Sarah Willis imposed a sentence of life without the possibility of parole.

Assistant State Attorneys Mathri Thannikkotu and Jo Wilensky prosecuted the case and obtained justice for the victim.
