A Palm Beach County jury on Monday found a former high school teacher guilty of child sex crimes involving a 16-year-old student, the State Attorney’s Office announces.

After a six-day trial, Damian Conti, 37, was convicted of four counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor by an authority figure of a school. These offenses occurred between December 2023 and February 2024.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled on Aug. 15. Each count is a first-degree felony.
