A jury on May 5 found Davian Stephenson Smith guilty of trafficking in fentanyl. On Thursday, he was sentenced to 25 years in prison, Palm Beach County State Attorney Alexcia Cox announces.

The evidence showed that the defendant, a previously convicted felon, was arrested on July 10, 2024, in suburban West Palm Beach. The jury also convicted Smith of possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

In addition to the prison term, Smith was ordered to serve five years of probation, complete 500 hours of community service, and pay a $105,000 fine.
