Man Convicted of Multiple Sexual Battery Counts

The Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office announces that a jury this week found a man guilty in a 2021 sexual battery case.
Michael Lyles, 36, was convicted of three counts of sexual battery (deadly weapon/physical force).
Assistant State Attorney Karen Black, from our Special Victims Unit, prosecuted the case with assistance from Assistant State Attorney Alejandro Dermody-McKeen. The victim bravely testified at the trial.
We thank the West Palm Beach police officers and detectives who worked on this case.
