A jury found Sumarie Wilson guilty of attempted manslaughter and attempted robbery with a firearm last November. On March 30, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison, Palm Beach County State Attorney Alexcia Cox announces.

The violence happened around midnight on February 24, 2022, in the 1000 block of West 3^rd Street in Riviera Beach. One victim was wounded by the gunfire.

This case was investigated by the Riviera Beach Police Department and prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Daiana Espindola and Weir King.
