A man found guilty of multiple crimes involving a boat purchase was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison, the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office announces.

On Sept. 25, a jury convicted Paul Magnum of organized scheme to defraud ($50,000 or more) fraudulent use of personal identification information ($100,000 or more), and uttering a forgery.

In 2021, Magnum schemed to take ownership of a 56-foot boat with a sale price of $700,000.
