A judge today sentenced Brandon Ceasar, 34, to life in prison for the 2022 shooting death of a man, the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office announces.

A jury on Thursday found Ceasar guilty of second-degree murder with a firearm, tampering with evidence, and theft.

The 18-year-old victim was killed in his car, which was parked at an apartment complex west of Boynton Beach. Ceasar used bleach in an attempt to cover up the crime scene.

Circuit Judge Daliah Weiss presided over the trial and imposed the sentence. Assistant State Attorneys Courtney Behar and Jo Wilensky prosecuted the case.
