The Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office announces that two individuals have been sentenced to multiple terms of life in prison following their recent convictions by a jury for sexual battery with a child (familial or custodial) and other serious offenses.

A 36-year-old Lake Worth man received seven life sentences for crimes that happened in 2022 and 2023. Assistant State Attorneys Nicole Corring and Alexa Ruggiero prosecuted the case.

A 53-year-old Boynton Beach man received four life sentences for crimes that took place from 2012 to 2019. Karen Black and Alejandro Dermody-McKeen prosecuted the case.

These outcomes are the result of the bravery of the victims who testified against their attackers. Also, we thank law enforcement for their hard work along with our Special Victims Unit prosecutors and support staff.

“These convictions and life sentences reflect the seriousness of these crimes and our unwavering commitment to protecting vulnerable members of our community,” State Attorney Alexcia Cox said. “We are grateful to the investigators and everyone who worked hard to ensure justice was obtained for the victims.”
